A STATE witness, Milton Hatembo, has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that FDD president Edith Nawakwi allegedly instructed him and his sister to sue President Hakainde Hichilema over Farm No.1924 in Kalomo to prevent him from contesting the 2021 elections. In this matter, Nawakwi is facing four counts of abduction and threatening violence. Allegations in count one are that Nawakwi, on dates unknown but between August 31, 2021 and September 1, 2022, in Lusaka, jointly and whilst acting together with other persons unknown, with intent to cause injury or alarm, threatened to kill Pheluna Hatembo to which she said, “I will kill you by chopping your head if you tell anyone whatever I discuss”.
