Power Dynamos on Sunday denied Napsa Stars any hope of staying top of the 2017 FAZ Super Division table following a 1-0 home win at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe.

Napsa came into the match on a high after taking the early lead of the table following a 3-0 home win over Nchanga Rangers on April 8.

Power were seeking their first league win after drawing 3-3 away to Lusaka Dynamos in Week 1.

Power were also winless in all competition this year and ended the drought in their third game in 2017 with that home victory.

Jimmy Ndhlovu broke the deadlock in the 85th minute of a dramatic showdown that was action packed from start to finish.

Meanwhile in Ndola, promoted side’s Buildcon and Real Nakonde recorded draws in their respective league games in a doubleheader at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Nakonde finished 1-1 away at Forest Rangers thanks to goals from Danny Silavwe and Green Mumba in the 90th and 84th minutes respectively.

Buildcon played out to a 0-0 home draw with Kabwe Warriors.

Buildcon, Nakonde and Warriors have 2 points each from as many games played while Forest have 1 point after losing 1-0 away to Lumwana Radiants in Week 1.
