The Ndola Magistrates’ Court has convicted a real estate agent for corruption and sentenced him to two years imprisonment with hard labour. According to a statement from ACC public relations manager Timothy Moono, Tuesday, Ndola Senior Resident Magistrate Osward Chibalo found Tobias Nkhoma, a real estate agent, guilty of one count of obtaining money by false pretenses and two counts of uttering False documents. “Particulars in count one are that Tobias Nkhoma, aged 49 of Chifubu, Ndola district on unknown dates but between 27th January, 2016 and 30th June, 2016 jointly and whilst acting together with others unknown, by false pretences and with intent to defraud, obtained a sum of K17,200 from Nsofu Chilaisha in two instalments of K 7,200…...
