POLICE have deployed officers at Chipata Trades Training Institute following the death of a suspected thief who was beaten by a mob of students after he was allegedly found with stolen items. Michael Phiri, a resident of Asiloti Compound which is near the Institute, was beaten after being found with a phone and a handbag belonging to one of the female students at the institution.
