MPIKA PF member of parliament Francis Kapyanga says chiefs in his area want government to allow them to participate in identifying people who should be given licences for gold mining in the area. Speaking in the National Assembly, Tuesday, Kapyanga said a lot of people had moved into the area since gold was discovered which had seen an increase in criminality and other vices. “Madam Speaker in Mpika and part of Shiwang’andu, gold has been discovered.
