GOVERNMENT says Zambia’s annual health expenditure is projected to increase from approximately $628 million in 2026 to over $1 billion by 2030, following a partnership with the United States government. Ministry of Health Spokesperson Georgia Mutale Chimombo says the Zambian government is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the United States government on health assistance.
