FORMER vice-president Enock Kavindele says running mates who served between 2016 till date should be entitled to the proposed benefits bill, insisting he has doubts about entitlements for those who served earlier. Kavindele explains that during Kenneth Kaunda’s era, anyone who rose to high office was expected to own a house rather than rely on government, stressing that former leaders should not “cry” to Parliament for free housing.
