INSPECTOR General of Police Graphel Musamba has urged officers to remain vigilant against misinformation, hate speech and cyber-related offences during elections. Speaking during the graduation ceremony of 26 women officers who underwent specialised training in election security and conflict mediation, Musamba said election security required impartiality and preparedness from law enforcement officers. He was speaking in a speech read on his behalf by Copperbelt Police Commissioner Mwala Yuyi. “The election security conflict mediation training has equipped 26 women officers from the Copperbelt division with vital skills for handling conflict in election operations.
