GOVERNMENT says 11 Tonse Alliance members have been arrested for being in possession of high grade military weapons aimed at threatening state security. The suspects include NRPUP presidential Spokesperson George Chisanga, Patrick Mwansa (Tasila Lungu’s husband), Bishop Trevor Mwamba, Simon Phiri, Richard Banda and Francis Mulenga. On Friday, in a Facebook post, NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile announced that him and his family, and other Tonse Alliance members including Chisanga and Mutotwe Kafwaya, were picked up from their Kabulonga residence by men in uniform and took them to the Army headquarters.
