VETERAN politician, Vernon Mwaanga says public servants who are facing criminal charges must be removed from office to allow a smooth process of prosecution. Mr Mwaanga who is moved by the developments in Malawi recalls that in Zambia, we have had cases where ministers are arrested and prosecuted without being removed from office, which he says is a very strange phenomenon.
