PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema yesterday spoke in an intense manner to demonstrate his displeasure at the conduct of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Lillian Siyunyi for giving immunity to former KCM liquidator Milingo Lungu. The President said the DPP has no powers to give immunity to anyone and therefore she must be subjected to the law. The President’s position is shared by Professor Muna Ndulo who recently made a statement to the effect that the immunity that the DPP gave to Mr Milingo Lungu is null and void as it is not supported by the law.
