FIVE UPND members have sued the State in the Lusaka High Court, seeking damages for false imprisonment. Patrick Mwalula Mucheleka, Elias Mubanga, Samuel Ngwira, Chinyimba Bwalya, Kelvin Kalusha Bwalya, were arrested on September 13 and were detained for 31 days. The five UPND members are also seeking aggravated and exemplary damages for malicious prosecution, assault, mental distress, mental anguish, emotional distress, inconvenience and embarrassment.
