A MAN from Meanwood has landed himself in court after telling his friend’s wife that her husband is responsible for the collapse of his marriage and for his wife leaving him. However, the court found that the couple had merely been cohabiting, noting that the man had not paid bride price and therefore could not claim the woman as his wife. This is a matter in which Moses Manda, 26, of Mwalubemba, has dragged Motton Lungu, 25, of Meanwood, to court for defamation of character.
