THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says Dubai is the only place where ballot papers for the 2026 general election are being printed, stressing that there is no other printing process happening elsewhere. The Commission’s assurances follow allegations on social media that ECZ was printing extra ballots in Tanzania. Meanwhile, Dubai-based Al Ghurair Printing Company says it has added a third printing machine in order to produce over 2 million ballot papers per day.
