FORMER Finance Minister Ng’andu Magande says Zambia just needs to sit down with its creditors and agree on how much it can afford to pay on its debt. Finance and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane earlier this week revealed that Zambia’s creditors under the common framework were complaining that they were being asked to provide too many incentives towards the country’s debt. Dr Musokotwane said the creditors were asking for adjustments and for them not to be forced to write off very big amounts of money.
