TRADE Kings group of companies has dragged its sales representative to court for allegedly stealing more than K151,000.

This is in a case in which Joshua Kalunga, a resident of Lusaka, and a sales representative at Trade Kings, stands charged with one count of theft by servant contrary to section 272 and 278 of the penal code chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia.

Particulars of the offense allege that Kalunga on June 26, 2021 in Lusaka, while being employed as a sales representative by Trade Kings Group of Companies stole K151.789.00, the property of the said employer.

When the matter came up, Thursday, before magistrate Jennifer Bwalya for allocation and plea, the accused person who is currently on police bond, was not before the court.

The matter comes up on August 9, 2021 for plea.
