TWO Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) council members have sought court permission to commence an action against the association and its president during the Christmas vacation, to challenge their suspension. LAZ president Lungisani Zulu recently suspended two council members, Arnold Kaluba and Mulenga Sholomo, who proposed that new lawyers being called to the Bar between December 16 and 20, 2024 should be exempted from paying 2024 subscription fees.
