NEWLY appointed Zesco United coach Zlatko Krmpotic says his target is to win all three trophies in his first season at the club.

Speaking on arrival at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport in Ndola Yesterday, Krmpotic said he had knowledge of the Zambian Super Division and he was ready to maintain Zesco Utd’s status by winning the league, the Barclays cup and CAF confederations Cup.

Krmpotic, who also coached Congolese side TP Mazembe, said he had worked with Zambian players before and described them as talented.

“Zesco is a good team with good players and has earned a status on the continent. We have a three-pronged season ahead of us and our target is to hopefully win all of them,” said Krmpotic.

The 58-year- old coach was introduced to the players and other members of the technical bench today and had his first training session.

Krmpotic urged the players to work hard adding that he would have an open door policy and give equal chances players.

The Serbian, who has signed a two year performance based contract, is expected to guide the team through a pre-season camp in preparation for the CAF Confederations Cup and the FAZ/MTN super league.

Meanwhile, Zesco has restructured its technical bench following Krmpotic’s appointment as Head Coach.
