Speaking on arrival at Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport in Ndola Yesterday, Krmpotic said he had knowledge of the Zambian Super Division and he was ready to maintain Zesco Utd’s status by winning the league, the Barclays cup and CAF confederations Cup.

Krmpotic, who also coached Congolese side TP Mazembe, said he had worked with Zambian players before and described them as talented.

“Zesco is a good team with good players and has earned a status on the continent. We have a three-pronged season ahead of us and our target is to hopefully win all of them,” said Krmpotic.

The 58-year- old coach was introduced to the players and other members of the technical bench today and had his first training session.
