ZAMBIA U17 women’s national team coach Carol Kanyemba says today’s 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup third round final leg qualifier against Uganda is a mountain the team entered to conquer. Kanyemba’s girls face Uganda at St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende armed with a 2-0 first-leg victory on May 12 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka. Goals from Namute Chileshe and Ruth Musonda Mukoma were enough to put the Kanyemba drilled side a step closer to reaching the last round of the qualifiers.
