THE Non-Governmental Organisations Coordinating Council (NGOCC) says there is need for constitutional reforms with regards to the electoral process surrounding fresh nominations after the demise or withdrawal of any validly nominated candidate. In a statement, Monday, NGOCC executive director Engwase Mwale who is part of the team monitoring the printing of ballot papers in Dubai, stated that so far the printing of ballot papers for the upcoming general elections was progressing according to schedule. “The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has today, 19th July 2021, updated the monitoring team that printing of the forthcoming elections’ ballot papers is progressing according to schedule.
