FORMER minister of national planning and development Lucky Mulusa has asked Speaker of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti to urgently operationalise the Office of the Public Protector, and suggests that a Committee be established where the findings of this office will be reported to. In a letter dated June 9, 2022, Mulusa said people created the Office of the Public Protector in the Constitution with the desire to prevent absolute leadership, within the parameters of the law. “I respectfully write to request that you urgently operationalise the Office of the Public Protector by way of putting in place the necessary Committee, into which findings of this office will be reporting.
