HEALTH Minister Sylvia Masebo has revealed that Chipata District of Eastern Province has four confirmed cholera cases but no deaths have been recorded so far. And Masebo has disclosed that Vubwi District has recorded nine new cholera cases and one death in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, Masebo says holding the Nc’wala ceremony slated for this month will be of concern if cholera cases continue to increase in Chipata District. Addressing the media, Wednesday, Masebo said eight people presenting with acute watery diarrhoea and vomiting are admitted to the Chipata Cholera Treatment Centre.
