LUSAKA Lawyer Jonas Zimba says African leaders will start refusing to leave office because of how they’re treated when they lose power. In an interview, Zimba said it was sad that President Hakainde Hichilema was constantly talking negatively about his predecessor Edgar Lungu. “I think the President has been very consistently talking about the former president, even where he’s gone to rallies. When it is actually absolutely unnecessary to talk about the predecessor, ‘alebwelelapo, alebwelela pesa?’ All sorts of things like that.
