NEWLY appointed Luapula Province Minister Njavwa Simutowe says he will engage the local leadership to ensure that those participating in mining activities in the province have legal documents. In July this year, former Luapula Province minister Derricky Chilundika became the first minister to be dismissed by President Hakainde Hichilema. After his dismissal, the Zambia police proceeded to arrest Chilundika for allegedly mining 23 tonnes of Sugilite Mineral Ore in Chembe District without a Licence.
