FORMER energy minister David Mabumba has advised government to continue on the path set out by PF of building strategic fuel reserves in order to address the fluctuating commodity prices. The former energy minister has also encouraged the new dawn government to invest in a multipurpose product pipeline. On Tuesday, Energy Regulation Board (ERB) Chairperson Reynolds Bowa said government had not been subsidising fuel, but the authority had been using the Strategic Reserve Fund to support price stabilisation due to the sudden increase in the international price of fuel.
