HEALTH Minister Silvia Masebo has advised mothers to take their male children for circumcision, saying the practice helps minimize the chances of contracting sexually transmitted diseases. Speaking during the Chongwe Free Community Medical Outreach led by the Ministry of Health in partnership with the Muslim Social and Welfare Trust, Masebo also encouraged people to take cancer screening seriously. “You are aware that so many people have died of cancer here in Chongwe and, therefore, I am requesting that you to take cancer screening seriously, especially for cervical cancer.
