THE Healthcare Federation of Zambia (HFZ) has refuted claims that private health facilities overcharge clients under NHIMA, stating that the scheme has fixed rates to follow. Speaking, Tuesday, when he featured on Hot FM’s Hot Seat programme, HFZ Chairperson Dr Shailen Desai explained that NHIMA had fixed rates for each service provided by either the private or public sectors. “I will answer this question with ‘we do not overcharge’.
