MILLERS Association of Zambia (MAZ) president Andrew Chintala says government should consider adding chemicals for fighting armyworms to the FISP pack. Commenting on recent revelations by the Ministry of Agriculture that fall armyworms had affected several provinces, Chintala urged farmers to start preparing themselves for such eventualities, which he said was now a trend. “Obviously when it (armyworms) came, I think we thought it was just for a season or so, but unfortunately this has now become more or less a trend.
