THE Zambia Statistics Agency (ZamStats) says the country’s annual inflation for March 2024 has increased to 13.7 percent from the 13.5 percent recorded in February 2024. ZamStats has revealed that Gross Domestic Product (GDP) estimates for the fourth quarter of 2023 show that the economy grew by 8.0 percent from the 4.6 percent recorded in the same period in 2022.
