ZAMBIA Revenue Authority (ZRA) Board Chairperson Caleb Fundanga says people cannot complain about the bad state of roads when they don’t pay taxes. And ZRA Commissioner General Dingani Banda says the number of registered taxpayers contributing to revenue collection grew by 14 percent in 2023, in comparison to 2022. Meanwhile, acting Finance Minister Elijah Muchima has urged ZRA to ensure Tax Appreciation Day becomes a norm. ZRA held a Taxpayers Appreciation Day, Thursday. Recipients of the Taxpayers Appreciation Day awards included: Shoprite, ZAMBEEF PLC, Mulungushi International Conference Centre, FQM; which bagged a hat trick, Agro Fuel Investments Limited, Yango Deli, Hitachi Construction, among others.
