THE Lusaka High Court has ordered that a Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) class two scheme creditors meeting be convened on May 30, 2024 to consider a scheme of arrangement . The court has ordered that the creditors meeting for the class two scheme creditors be held at the Mulungushi International Conference in Lusaka. This is a matter in which ZCCM-IH petitioned the Lusaka High Court, seeking an order that KCM should be wound up for engaging in tax evasion and being managed in a manner detrimental to its interest, among other allegations.
