Newly appointed Red Arrows Coach Honour Janza has started his reign at the Army sponsored side with a victory over Zimbabwean Champions Caps United in his first match in charge.
A goal in either half from midfielder Lubinda Mundia ensured victory for red arrows in a friendly game played at Nkoloma stadium yesterday January 27, 2017.
Red arrows played a high pressing game forcing Caps United to be playing their own half.
Caps United Defender Justice Njagano conceded a penalty after 23 minutes but striker Festus Mbewe failed to convert from the spot hitting the upright.
Lubinda later put the home side in the lead in the 30th minute with a well taken strike after string of passes from the front three.
The teams went in the dressing rooms at half time with Lubinda strike separating Red Arrows and the Zimbabwean champions who are in the country for pre-season friendlies.
Lubinda completed his brace four minutes unto the second half to seal the victory for Arrows.
Caps United will tomorrow be hosted MTN/FAZ Super League champions Zanaco Fc as part of the two sides preparations, for their forthcoming 2017 CAF Champions League campaigns in February.
