UNDER-21 hockey men’s national team coach Shadreck Katele has named a 24-man provisional squad ahead of the junior Africa Cup of Nations set for Egypt in March. Speaking in an interview, Thursday, Katele said the team has immediately started preparations for the tournament that also acts as qualifiers for the 2023 Junior World Cup which will be hosted by Malaysia later this year. Playmaker Philimon Bwali who led the senior national team in Egypt during the 5-aside World Cup leads the provisional team that includes the enterprising Kennedy Nkosi and Isaac Mutale.
