THE Zambia women’s and men’s national teams had a rough start to the 2024 Paris Africa Olympic qualifiers, suffering humiliating defeats against Kenya and Ghana in Pretoria, South Africa yesterday. The women’s team suffered a 4-0 thumping at the hands of Kenya, while the men’s team gave away a 1-0 lead to lose 3-1 to Ghana. Zambia 0-4 Kenya Flavan Mutiva’s brace and one apiece from Lucy Wangeci and Maureen Okumu were enough to inspire Kenya to victory and hand Zambia a bad start to the campaign.
