CHIPOLOPOLO stars Emmanuel Banda and Kelvin Kapumbu say the team is ready for the 2023 Ivory Coast Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) that swings into action this weekend. The Chipolopolo will be making a return to the continent’s biggest football extravaganza for the first time since 2015 after missing the last three editions. Zambia is in Group F alongside Morocco, Tanzania, and Congo, and will be based in the coastal city of San Pedro. Ivory Coast will be hosting the tournament since 1988, with Zambia making a return after eight years of scarcity.
