A 35-YEAR-OLD woman of Lusaka’s Kanyama West has sued her 32-year-old husband for divorce, accusing him of failing to provide for his family and abandoning them after finding a job. Lilian Gumbo told the Matero Local Court that the misunderstandings between her and her husband, Chimwando Goma, began nine months ago when he found a job and started telling her that other women bathed better than she did. In his defence, Goma, an industrial carpenter, said his wife insulted him in front of their children and sometimes she even followed him to his workplace to insult him.
