ZAMBIA Must Prosper (ZMP) Secretary General Chanda Kasolo says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is operating like a headless chicken because of the delay in appointing a substantive Minister. Kasolo has urged President Hakainde Hichilema to consider appointing an opposition MP as Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has had no substantive head since the resignation of Stanley Kakubo, who was caught up in corruption allegations, last December. President Hichilema appointed Justice Minister Mulambo Haimbe to head the Foreign Affairs Ministry in an acting capacity, but is yet to settle on a candidate to take up the position.
