THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday forcefully broke into Bowman Lusambo’s residence, seeking to apprehend the former Lusaka Province minister. A bench warrant has been issued against Lusambo and his wife by Lusaka Magistrate, Faides Hamaundu, in a case where the two are charged with possession of property suspected of being proceeds of crime. ACC Head-Corporate Communications, Timothy Moono, confirmed the raid at Lusambo’s residence in a statement released yesterday evening. “The Anti-Corruption Commission wishes to confirm reports that it broke into former Lusaka Province Minister Mr Bowman Lusambo’s residence in an attempt to present him before court as ordered by the Lusaka Magistrate Court.
