A MEDICAL team from Maina Soko Medical Centre has attended to over 170 people at Mtendere Mission Hospital in Chirundu District, during a one-week Cataract Surgical Camp held from May 18 to 24, 2025. Lieutenant Colonel Dr Everisto Banda, Head of the Ophthalmology Department at Maina Soko Medical Centre, says 66 surgeries were successfully conducted, including two on children suffering from cataracts resulting from trauma.
