POLICE in Lusaka have detained a couple of Kalingalinga Compound in connection with the death of their six-month-old female infant. According to the police, the infant’s mother unintentionally fell asleep while breastfeeding the baby, only to wake up and find her husband’s arm on the baby’s face, with the child unresponsive. Police Public Relations Officer Rae Hamoonga says the report was made by Musonda Chipanga, 32, who indicated that his daughter, Josephine Chipanga, was discovered dead in bed around 06:00 hours.
