Opposition “Maulesi” over Kwacha appreciation – VEEP
VICE-PRESIDENT Mutale Nalumango says the appreciation of the Kwacha, reductions in fuel prices, and the stabilisation of mealie meal costs have left the opposition with no criticism to level against the UPND government. Speaking during the Vice-President’s question time in Parliament, Friday, Nalumango said the government even felt “sorry” for the opposition, as it now lacked issues to talk about. She was responding to a question from Sikongo UPND Member of Parliament Mayungo Simushi, who asked what chances the opposition had of winning the 2026 general elections given the Kwacha’s recent gains and the drop.......
