AS women jostle to actualise the “imita ufole” promise, Professor Patrick Chanda has a warning for men; keeping their testicles in hot environments for too long can negatively affect spermatogenesis (process of sperm formation). Prof Chanda, who is Dean of Public Health School at Texila American University, says anything which supplies heat to the testicles affects sperm production. He says just like wearing tight underwear, keeping laptops on the laps for long periods isn’t ideal for men.
