COPPERBELT Province Minister Elisha Matambo has expressed disappointment over the poor quality of the newly constructed Ndola-Sakania-Mufulira Road, which is being constructed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP). Matambo has directed the contractor to redo some sections of the road, which have been patched up, stating that the current quality of the road will not stand the test of time. In 2023, government signed a concession agreement with Jaswin Ports Limited Consortium to develop 61 kilometres of the Mufulira-Sakania-Ndola Road under Public – Private Partnership Project (PPP).
