THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has convicted and fined two men who falsely claimed that their genitals were stolen K620 each, to be paid within two days, failure to which they will serve four months in prison. Alfred Mwenge and Justin Banda pleaded guilty after taking a fresh plea in a matter in which they were charged with the offence of giving false information to a public officer, contrary to Section 125 of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
