59 TRUCK drivers employed by North Star Logistics have sued a law firm, Kang’ombe and Associates, seeking immediate payment of $147,500, being monies for night allowance. The truck drivers lament that the law firm’s actions of purporting to have instructions from them to represent them in some legal matters caused them a lot of inconveniences and unexpected financial loss Samson Banda and 58 others also want immediate payment of K1,180,000 travel allowances, damages for loss of income and damages for inconvenience and mental anguish.
