A BANKER at Atlas Mara Limited has told the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court that over K70 million was transferred from the Ministry of Finance into former defence minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba’s bank account which was held at the bank between 2020 and 2021. Idah Kaluba Chilumbu was testifying in a matter in which Mwamba is facing eight counts of conflict of interest, one count of money laundering and 15 counts of being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
