LUSAKA Magistrate Davies Chibwili has removed former Ministry of Education permanent secretary Dr Patrick Nkanza from the matter in which he was jointly charged with former Secretary to the Treasury Fredson Yamba and four others. The former education PS will now be tried separately from Yamba and the others. This was after the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) prosecutors amended the indictment to separate him from the others as his charge was different. In this matter, Nkanza was jointly charged with Yamba, former Ministry of Higher Education Permanent Secretary Owen Mugemezulu and former Ministry of Education employees, Joseph Nthele, Joseph Phiri and Joseph Ngulube.
