FORMER Mongu High Court judge Wilfred Muma yesterday failed to take plea before the Economic and Financial Crimes Court in the matter in which he is charged with willful failure to comply with the law and abuse of authority of office. This is because one of his lawyers was not around. The matter has since been adjourned to Febraury 1, 2024 for possible plea. When the matter came up for plea before High Court Judges Pixie Yangailo, Anne Ononuju and Ian Mabbolobbolo, Muma’s lawyer James Mataliro applied for an adjournment because his co-counsel Chanda Chizu was not before court.
