MATERO MP and PF faction president, Miles Sampa, has petitioned the Lusaka High Court to authorize the service of court documents on Emmanuel Mwamba through advertisement in a newspaper. Mwamba, an aspiring candidate for the PF presidency himself, is aligned with the faction led by former head of state, Edgar Lungu. The Matero MP has initiated contempt proceedings against Mwamba following the latter’s discussion on his podcast regarding the legality of the October 24, 2023, PF general conference, which elected Sampa as party president.
