ZESCO has asked the High Court to dismiss Umodzi Kum’mawa spokesperson Chanoda Ngwira’s suit against the state, saying it owes him no obligation because he has no power supply contract with the utility in respect to any property in Zambia. Zesco also says Chanoda is free to engage other power generation companies if he is not satisfied with their services. In this matter, Ngwira has cited the Attorney General, Zesco and the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) as respondents.
